Question about Hostel booking.
Ok so im booking 3 nights in rome at the alessandro downtown hostel, the price is per bed but we have 4 people. Are we allow to have 2 people to one bed or does everyone in the room have to have their own bed? Thanks in advance! -Newman

Most hostels are per person regardless if you are sharing a bed. That said, I was recently looking at hostels in London and Rome for a friend and I remember one saying the price was per bed not per person, but I can't remember which city it was in (I thought it was Rome)
Anyway have fun, Rome is a great city

everywhere i've been its always been per person. make sure you book Alessandro downtown and not the palace, dont go to the palace unless you really need a place to stay. if you cant get in to the downtown the yellow was pretty good.

Yeah, you are going to either pay per person for a bunk bed, or pay a bit extra per person for a private room with double sized beds. Don't see you having much luck with sleeping 2 in a bunk bed for the price of 1. Good luck

If the four of you are coughing up 30 bucks a piece, you may be able to find a hotel for that much.
Just a thought.

one extra thing about hotel booking - you'll save yourself the deposit money that hostelworld takes from you if you email or call the hostel directly and set it up with them.
And if you change your plans, you don't lose money!
