Guys! I've got a B&B question... my parents are planning a trip for Europe in January, ad they wanna stay at a relatively cheap B&B or Gues House (under 60£...) So, has anyone ever spulgered a bit and stayed somplace like that? Or as anyones parents?? Cause it's really hard to find anything reasonable and we've tryed several search engines. They are renting a car, so my dad doesn't want something too downtown where it'll be impossible to park, but someplace where by just getting on the Underground they can get easily to the city centre.

Any ideas??

When i lived in london I worked at a hostel and occasionally at a B and B run by the same people. It was small, and clean, and rather charming. I doubt it was all that expensive either. Look up Notting Hill Gate. Google or something. True, its smack in the middle of the city but it aint not bad. Driving in London is pretty hopeless, you have to pay a nice fat fee to be able to drive in the city itself. And even then its so clogged with buses and taxis you might as well just shell out the cash for a taxi instead of paying for car rental and super expensive petrol. Hope that helps you out a little bit...

We stayed at the Gable End and they picked us up and dropped us off at Gatwick. Very nice place
