I am going to Biarritz next weekend but having trouble with accomadation. The only hostel that isnīt booked has a three-bed room and I have to book all 3 beds, which doesnīt work for me. So my question is...should I just go anyway and hope to find somewhere to sleep? Would there possibly be a hostel there that isnīt on the web? Or should I just go for the day instead? If anyone has any information on Biarritz I would love to hear it! Thanks.

Hey?? how come you have to book all the beds in one room? ordo you preffer a single room? cause sharing with other two people really sint bad at all!!

It's a long time since I was there (15 years), but there was a campground outside of town, as well as the hostel. The hostel was booked solid, but I had met a couple of people on the train and they shared their tent with me...
My camera died, it poured with rain and I caught a cold there. So much for the French Riviera.
Hope you have a better time, but if you can only stay for a day, I don't think you'll feel like you missed a great deal.

I liked Biarritz, and not just for the nude beach

I donīt mind sharing a room, but when I tried booking online it wouldnīt let me book just one bed. Iīll try again though, maybe I did something wrong.

I stayed at the Hostelling International affiliated hostel in Biarritz:
http://www.fuaj.org/eng/hostels/aj_fiche.php?aj_id=151
It was run by some young surfy guys, was comfortable and had a laid back atmosphere.
If my memory serves me correctly, it was walking distance from the train station and a bus ride from the main part of town and the beaches.
