Hi all,

I know this is yet another post on Prague hostels but I am after some specific recommendations!!

I just found out that my 'couch in a friend of a friend's apartment' for my April trip to Prague is now no longer an option :crybaby:

So now I need to find some accom.

Also my travel partner is not sure if she will come along anymore....

So anyway, looking for:
-Twin or female dorm room, up to 25 euro pp a night
-Central location near old town
-Not looking for a party atmosphere, somewhere that I can get a good night's sleep to make the most of my 4 days in Praha!!

Traveller's Dlouha is booked.
Sir Toby's private rooms are pricey.

Thinking maybe Atlas, Condor I, Levir, Hostel 5 or Oz apartmenthotel - all look fairly good but does anyone have any thoughts/advice on these??

Thanks TPs - your advice is always valuable :mf_gap:

Incase anyone is interested, I ended up booking The Boathouse in a 5 bed female dorm, 15 euro a night.
It has really good reviews but is about 15 min out of town (like that's far anyway!). Also most of the places in the centre either looked way too dodgy or were expensive or booked out.

Will let you know what it's like!!

did you look at miss sophies? or does anyone have info on that one? it looks really nice :)

Yeah I looked at Miss Sophies - its around 14-20 euros pp pn for a mixed dorm room (depending on what night of the week) and similarly 26-44 euros pp pn for a twin private.
I wasn't keen on staying in a mixed dorm, and the private prices were too pricey for me.

It does look really good on their website though and I think it's fairly new.

do you know if that is the same place as "Dlouha pension & hostel"? or a different one on the same street?

That's "Travellers Hostel Dlouha ", Dlouha 33, 11000.
However a google search also revealed "Dlouha Pension & Hostel, Dlouha 33" so I am thinking that they are the same place.

I also just discovered that it seems they are NOT booked out during those dates - but I have already booked the Boathouse. Still the Boathouse has great reviews and I am happy to stay there.
