I am heading off to Europe in two weeks and am about to book a reservation at the Radio Inn Hostel in Amsterdam, at the reccomendation of the Let's Go guidebook--it sounded really cool and unique. But, there are very (VERY) few reviews of it online. Has anyone ever stayed there/any feedback, positive or negative? Anything would help, thanks!

I have not stayed there.
I highly recommend and I am sure others will back me up: FLYING PIG
It has gotten rave reviews on hostelworld.com and everyone I talked to loved it. I stayed there myself for a few days and had a blast. I have found that the internet is a much better source of unbiased info for hostels than guide books. Hope this helps.

(Update)
I've checked out the location and it's situated along a very posh area of A'dam called the Golden Bend.
The area is mostly filled with regal and elegantly large & beautiful buildings - just about the most sought after addresses in the business sense, in Amsterdam.
But it is also a quieter area - certainly not the touristy area (as some may like it/not like it).
But that shouldn't deter from your plans - A'dam is a relatively small city & many areas can be easily (& comfortably) reached by mere minutes of casual walking.
That's about all that I can find.

Cheers & good luck!

i put a post up about this shit hole a while ago, stay clear!
i was all about the place after reading their internet site, cheap beds - seemingly charming accomodations - NOT!
the room was kinda cute and close enough to centraal - but the bathrooms... oh, the bathrooms. they were enough to make me cry, damn near.
nah, fuck em' - i wouldn't wish their bed/baths on my worst enemy.
(well, maybe her - yeah)
