General Hostel QUestion

Im headn on a monthlong tour of Europe in 3 weeks

Should i be bookn all of the hostels in the countries i plan to goto or only in like the main attractive cities like Paris, A-dam and Barcelona??

I think you're better off to book just the main cities that may book up quicker.

You don't want to book every single hostel in every city you plan on staying in, plans change!

The beauty of backpacking is you never know when you're going to meet up with a group of awsome people & completely change your itinerary

My opinion is that you should definetly reserve a night at a hostel in the first city you go to. Every hostel reserves a certain amount of beds for walk-ins but you never know they could fill up. By reserving a bed at the first hostel you ensure that when you are really tired and unfamiliar with the current surroundings that you have a place to crash and hang out.

So for example the flying pig in a-dam has rserved beds for walkins? Sicne i saw that they are booked for the days i will be there

They do, but get there EARLY. I believe walk-in bookings start at 8 or 9 in the morning, but people start lining up before 7...
