Thumbs up

I am new to backpacking, so I have been doing reseach and wonder if someone could clarify some info for me on the hostels.

When it says Breakfast Included, is that a continental style with donuts and fruit, or does that just depend on the hostel. Also when it say Internet Access, does that mean its like a cybercafe with pcs or would I need to bring/use my handheld/laptop.

Any info would be helpful just doing the research so i have a better idea of what to pack.

Ok here's the deal.

Breakfast at hostels can range from continental to a full-fledge smorgasbord. One hostel I was at the owner's wife would make a big pancake breakfast on certain days of the week. But whatever they serve it is enough to get your day started.

As far as internet access goes. If they are advertising that then they have at least one computer for guests to use. You could also (more than likely) bring your own laptop/whatever and a cord or wireless at some places and get connected yourself.
