Quick booking question

Sorry to keep pestering those "in the know" on simple questions like this. Um, Now that I have my air tickets as well as rail tickets I am just going around on line looking at some of the hostels along my route, doing a little research. To my alarm I finf that many of the online booking hostels are out of rooms, or have rooms available for 2 days in cites i want to stay 4....Question is, can i expect the same in hostels that do not have onlie booking links? Or do they tend to be a little more open because of lack of internet booking options. Worried just a bit hear. After 2 days in london the best I can find in Brussels (where the eurostar takes me) is 2 nights in the Sleep Well, other on line options are out of my budget. Thanks!

Wish i could help, but i always book online! *internet nerd*

brussells is (yucky) and supposed to be one of the harder places to find accomodation, so maybe you'll have better luck in other places.

yeah, perhaps if its getting really desperate, look up a map and find a town just out of brussels to stay, and just day trip into brussels the following day.

Thats what i would do anyways...

yeah, thanks OZ. I am already looking into Antwerp (6$ for a secon class ride into brussels, plus cheaper hostels) or Gent. All about adjusting on the fly i guess.

Winging it will totally be half the fun, and will sure to be full of unexpected memories.

Let us know how Antwerp goes, cuz ive got a soft spot for it. Only just cuz when i think belgium, i think antwerp, even before brussels and brugge...
