After doing much research on the Hostels in Paris (This will be my first stop and my first time staying in a Hostel) I think I have narrowed the search down to staying at on of the two BVJ Hostels. I noticed there were two locations, one in the Latin Quarter and one by the Louvre. Which location would you recommend?
I have heard some great stuff about the Latin Quarter but I don't know anything about the area around the Louvre. Any suggestions you all can offer would be great.
I stayed at the one by the Louvre and it was pretty good. SUPER central to most metro lines and just about everything, great all-you-can-eat breakfast in the cafeteria (if you like baguettes & fruit), and the street it's on sports a nice little bakery, cafe, pharmacy, etc., which is pretty handy for a week's stay.
I don't know about their Latin Quarter location, but you probably couldn't go wrong with that, either, as far as neighborthoods go.
