Not sure if you want something peaceful and quiet or rowdy and filled with people.
Two years ago I stayed in a single(2 beds in one room, but just for me) at THE INTERNATIONAL STUDENT HOUSE. They have two buildings. It was simple nice and peaceful in the second building (that's the one that I had my room at). I hear mostly good stuff about THE GENERATOR and really good stuff about the LAMBETHS SPORTMAN and ASHLEE HOUSE. You can find all four of theses hostels with pictures and details HERE (change the dates to check for availability). REVISED LINK |
I stayed at St. Christophers (the village). It was good enough for moi. The rooms and the washrooms were extremely clean. And they have a bar attached. They dont have a kitchen though. SO if you want to save some money on food this might not be the place for you. They serve brekkie in the morning, but it's shit. ugh really mcdicks does a better brekkie then st. christophers. But the hostel is clean (hard to find in good old london). That's it's best feature! :)

Thanks for the suggestion Dio!
Hope it helps you LittleMiss B) ! |
Thanks for your tips. I decided (in almost a coin-toss of a decision) to book into The Generator. What i've heard of the place is mostly good stuff, so why the heck not, right? I'll be giving my personal revue of it in the near future:)

It should do you fine, according to reiviews that I've read about it. If nothing else, if you leave the place with all of your belongings intact, slept in clean beds, had decent bathrooms, dealt with a nice and helpful staff, and paid a low rate, you've scored :) !
Anything else, like meeting cool people, activities, great lounge, etc... is a bonus! Can't wait for the report B) ! |
