I'm an expat (maybe) american songwriter who's just looking for a quiet inexpensive (total bills under 350) place, city or rural, to lay low & focus on my writing for a couple months anywhere in Eastern Europe. Does anyone know anywhere you could recommend I look?
Right now I'm staying at a hostel in Koln and I canīt afford to physically go from town to town, country to country, asking the locals, hoping I eventually get a lead.
Iīve tried google searching but all that comes up is expensive nightly-rent "apartments" (hotels, basically) for rich tourists. Antrec.ro was recommended but they donīt list prices. I emailed them a few days ago and they didnīt respond. Iīve also checked all the Craigslists for Eastern Europe and only Budapest had any appropriate listings. (still waiting to hear back from them)
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
