reading multiple entries i did pick up combination rope bike lock from friend. shoud this be enough at hostel if bag is near me sleeping, or do you think one might have audasity to go through primary stuff sack, it's a kelty coyote if familiar,as outer compartment will have basics;flashlight, canteen, maps,etc. in other words, should i get multiple minature pad locks.
if i'm way off and there's a much more sensible way of doing things please let me know. paranoia is not an issue as i have no one to write home in search of replacements, and would probably want to leave bag at hostel when job hunting.
p.s. i also considered large canvas, launrdy type, bag that i could cinch and lock once, but i don't know if i would tire of pulling pack out every time i need something.
