Guys...

Have you ever chaffed pretty bad whilst on the road, and how have you dealt with it?

I know how crippling it can be, and just wanted to know how you all have delt with it when it occured.

Cheers

Hey bro, chaffing can be a problem...the movement, sweat, heat are all a recipe for chaffing...there are creams you can buy to relieve and prevent chaffing but I think vitamin E cream should to the trick....

try some bike shorts under your clothes. the modern moisture-wicking materials they have now-a-days could make your life a living heaven, i suppose. maybe something like these.

you could also bring some gold bond powder as preventative maintenance.

bike shorts are also pretty damn stylish. Get a good neon stripe going down the sides and you're an instant lady's man!

Definately a pair of athletic style, moisture wicking boxerbrief undershorts will work well. I recommend these...they are fantastic. I wear them under regular shorts when I work out. Under Armour

Hunh? What's "rei"?

Or, was that just the sound of you inhaling, holding it, then exhaling?

You aren't a true REI nerd until you've bought a pair of those "trekking poles"

I'm sorry, but I have to laugh every time I see those things. Glorified walking stick.

I LOVE REI! I am totally addicted to that store! My dad and I used to wake up early on Saturday mornings to hit the REI sales before all the good stuff was gone!

I would also like to say that I LOVE MY NALGENE! (sorry, thinking of REI brought that to mind)

yo luisfc...

just to answer your question, yeah, chaffing (spelling?) i guess is caused by your upper thighs rubbing. Its sumtimes painful because when you work up a sweat due to the fact that sweat contains salt, and you can imagine that when its really bad, its like having sandpaper b/w your legs... Not fun in the slightest. Hope that helps.

Yeah, might throw a pair of scienctific underwear in the kit just in case. Could be a life saver.
