As much as I miss driving, I don't like the thought of having to go back to the US and having to get back to becoming a car owner. Such a drag to think about.

But seriously, backpack traveling is 99% walking. So all you backpackers thinking about doing your first trip, break in your shoes well before you leave!

I am not looking forward to driving around for every little thing that I need to do, should I move back after almost 9 years in Spain. I love being able to go anywhere I need to within walking distance or by underground metro.

Every time I come home I am boiling like I've just gotten off the treadmill after an hour. All I need is to add some weights to the mix and it's all good.

Youtube has a lot of videos that shows you how to exercise in your hotel/hostel room.

Then again, doing the "plank" everyday has proven to be extremely good for the body and all you need is a flat surface

Just move back somewhere with mass transit and use Uber and Lyft for those necessities. I only use uber when traveling, but have had great experiences with it in D.C., Seattle, and Miami

It would most likely be LA again and I would absolutely need a car, although I like the idea of an electric bike. But realistically a bike won't be enough because LA is so big.

I will miss Madrid for this reason (metro, bus, and bike). They really have their act together with their awesome transportation system.

Wait another 5 years and google will self-drive you anywhere you wish. Seriously, self driving cars will be so cool, can't wait. The biggest winner will be the beer industry, drunk [self-]driving, f*ck yea!
