Hey, any one here fans of the zip-off kahkis that go from pants to shorts? I had a pair for my two week through Eygpt and the Balkans and boy were they wonderful. But now I need some new pairs any recomendations for a good brand? Thanks !

Yep! I have a pair by Sierra Design...Super light weight, quick dry, take almost no space, wash very easily, the fabric is soft and they are comfortable...They have an inbuilt belt (so if you loose weight they still fit!!!), and all pockets are roomy and have a zipper. There is a velcro at the bottom of the legs so you can strap them to your ankles if it's muddy or watherver...

I love them!

And I will let CD post one of his 'Welcome' flashing things for you...

To the Boards Rugger!!!!

By far the best "zip-off" pants if have ever come across are made by Tilley Endurables these things go take you to hell and back...They are a Canadian Company, but the link I just gave is for their American site, there is a British site as well

Now keep in mind they are prob more money than any budget trav'la wants to spend, but if you have the scratch to get them, I would go for it!
