Hey, you can see a bullfight most anywhere in Spain, but I would recommend Seville, as it is the oldest bullring in Spain if I remember right. Although you might want to check on the dates, because I know they don't do it the whole year and I am not sure about September.

I saw a bullfight in Sevilla and the arena is quite a site. I definitely recommend it!

I will tread lightly here. First of all, I am not a vegetarian or an animal nut. I do respect living things, but I don't have any desire to trash an old tradition or anything. That being said, I dont recommend any bullfights. I know people say to go because its an experience and its a local custom and so on, but I still say dont go. My experience was terrible. I saw one in Barcelona, where they no longer do them. Maybe its different other places, but when I saw it there were almost no locals there at all. Mostly tourists. This is just my opinion. I dont think people that go are monsters or anything, but I was honestly disgusted. I recommend you do a little research before going at least. You may be surprised at what actually happens at a bullfight. It is by no means a fair fight. The bull is severely injured before even coming out, then speared and bled quite a bit before you even see the matador. Anyway, people dont freak out on me, this is just my 2 cents.

On the lighter side the meat of the bull once it is killed, will often be given to the poor or to charities.

I read recently that few locals/Spanish attend bullfights anymore and they rely more on more on travellers. Personally I would never go mainly cause I can't stand to see that kind of cruelty . But its up to you to support it or not. well on that happy note eh!
