Cheap travel?

With the ever dropping dollar, rising fuel costs, and food going up; where are the places that are still cheap? I was thinking of going back to Europe this fall, but with the rising cost of everything, I want to know what places you can still have a good time with less money. Any ideas?

Try countries which do not have their currency pegged to the Euro. In Eastern Europe you have Serbia, Albania, Macedonia, Ukraine, Moldova or Turkey (most of the others are all pegged at a fixed rate). Or the Pound has been falling a lot recently so the UK is no worse exchange rate wise than a year a go. Or try cheaper Euro countries like Spain as opposed to the likes of France.

Otherwise you have many cheap destinations in Asia and parts of the Middle East.

Try South East Asia specifically, I'm heading out there in about a week or so. I'm excited to see if all these low cost, cheap places really exist... Hopefully, not thanks to the falling dollar, these place are as much of a bargain as they used to be. We'll just have to see.

Sounds to me like Asia is the place to go.
