Lying on television is not as easy as it seems though!! When I worked at the Ricki Lake show I remember we had this set of people who were caught in a big lie and it came spilling out that they only did it because they wanted the free trip to New York! The show pulled their return tickets and didn't pay for the hotel...the hotel bill ended up on their credit card. The people had to pay for their flights back to California and pay for their hotel! Their "free trip" ended up costing lots of money!

And I didn't feel sorry for them one bit!!!

You worked on Ricki Lake?! Oh my GOD!! I used to watch that show when I was about 11, they put it on repeats on one of the terrestrial channels over here. I thought it was so funny.

I worked there during the 10th and 11th season...Man. I saw some crazy things when I had that job! It was so much fun working there.
