Before I smack down about 700 clams on a Eurail Pass, is it best to buy tix individually?
I am planning as follows (with a few stops in between) :
London
Amsterdam
Naples
Paris
back to London
Or should I just suck it up and buy a big pass? I hate to spend money on train fare that would be better spent on booze and fun crap! Also, is there any way to get a timetable prior to purchase? This would help immensely with booking hostels, et al.
ah, the ever-long debate of individual tickets vs. rail pass... there is indeed a europe-wide rail time schedule at bahn.de.
Are you looking at a Selectpass? A full-on eurail pass may be a little much for that itinerary. Go to Rick Steves' Site for more info about passes vs. individual tickets.
