Hey guys
Me and a friend have just spent the best part of two grand booking tickets and hotels etc through expedia and now I'm getting a bit paranoid that it hasn't booked right lol I've used lastminute.com and turned up at the airport and not have a seat booked before!

Any of you guys used it before??

I used Expedia a month ago. I booked my hotel for Vancouver on the site. I was just as freaked out as you, but mine was cause i've never used the net for anything like that before. I called the hotel about an hour after just to confirm my reso. and everything was great!!! I'll use Expedia again, but only if I can't book it on/through TravelPunk first.

Most of them are alright....I'm not sure about flights but for hotels even if something gets screwed up they'll pick up the tab. I know family that got screwed and the hotel ended up calling the company(it was travelocity, expedia, one of those) and they fixed everything up.

I wouldn't worry about it to much..have a good one!

I have never had a single problem with any of those kind of companies.

I find expedia a bit expensive however Im a dirty backpacker lol!!!
what I think is good about expedia however is that if something goes wrng which it probably wont then they will fix it right away, I think they are like a virtual travel agent, they dont just give you a cheap price they stick behind their work......so if you booked expedia worried is the last thing you should be.....broke is first

Expedia often comes up with some great deals, and often some lousy ones. The thing you have to watch out for is that they will quote you one price, and if you come back later in the day, they'll say the price has gone up. In order to avoid this while doing your price research, reset your browser's cookies before going back to Expedia, and they won't know that you looked up prices with them before.
