I was a complete girly girl and took my hairdryer and straighteners with me when I went away. And I got a lot of use out of them! They didn't take up a huge amount of space in my bag, and I didn't have to leave anything behind just so I'd have room for them, so it was all good. If I hadn't taken them, I would have looked like shite, quite frankly.
Anyway, shave it off!! If I'd had the nerve, I so would have done that, but I'm a wimp, so I didn't! But you can!
I didn't really have time to read all the replies to this post, but I will just tell you that hair isn't really something I worry about much. I have hair similar to dio's, naturally wavy, thick and a lot of it. Usually when I am travelling I like it to be as non noncense as possible. Hell even when I am home I like that. I do get sick of throwing it up in a ponytail all the time though. I recently started sporting bandanas, either as a headband or a full on pirate look. Sometimes I will leave it loose under the bandana or put it in two braids at the side. Hats are your friend. Wear them. Not just baseball hats either but maybe a cute little newsboy hat. If you put your front up in a little barette and then the rest in a ponytail that looks cute. But yeah I am all for no products and hair maitenance. Even when I just let it towel dry it seems to do ok...GOOD LUCK!
