DEFINITELY GO, GO, GO!!! If you just go home, you'll be comfy, but you'll end up wishing that you hadn't passed on that opportunity to travel. Once you start traveling, meeting great people, and having fun, you'll be happy that you didn't go home right away! So do it, and know we're here for ya!

Just my thoughts, but I'd assume considering you're studying that your life isn't too varied. Hense, you have more time to think about how much you miss home, how different everything is, etc. I certainly don't mean any offence by this, don't take it the wrong way! I was just thinking that if you went backpacking, you'd be so occupied by everything around you, desperatley wishing you had more time to do this or see that and go there, that homesickness would hardly filter in. Sooooo...I say go. Yep, go. Do it. And you'll appreciate home even more when you return.

Zool my friend!
You've already got out of your comfort zone by leaving home to study in another country - so you'll be fine on the backpacking trail!
Maybe you could just set off and if it doesnt go according to plan then just fly home for the summer. If you dont try you wont know, you have nothing to lose!!
All the best

I can only offer these few words of advice. Go reach out to your dreams, and enjoy every moment of your travels. These are the few precious years you may have to see something that you may never see again. I say the adventure will always win against seeing the same thing. You may like a song, and you may like listening to it a lot, but sometimes you get in the mood to hear something different. Even though at first you may be thinking about your old song, you must keep listening to the new ones. It broadens your mind, and after the fact it will make it that much more exciting.
Yes, strange I know. But hey, Its true, at least in my mind.
