I haven't personally tried this, but I just heard an awesome tip today that I was going to check out. I guess Southwest Airlines has this thing called "Ding" where you can input a destination you are looking into and they will alert you to travel deals. It's worth a try. I've also heard there are different wigits that do similar things.
Just to add to this - does anyone know of any website that can tell you the cheapest time of year to FLY to certain destinations? I'm trying to plan a trip to SA this fall, but I'm really not that picky. If it were a cheaper time of year to fly to SE Asia I would gladly do that and take the airline miles! Get me? I want the best deal always!! hehe. Thanks!
