Unhappy

I'm going to Italy for 15 days this March and I have a few questions.

First of all, there is so much to see and do in Italy that I have no idea where to start!! Any must see things that I shouldn't miss?? Second, can anyone suggest a few good hostels in Rome?? Thanks for any suggestions!!

yes, cinque terre is supposed to be very beautiful - i plan to see it next year when i vacation in italy. cinque terre

also on my list is the area of the italian lakes (that's just near the border of switzerland) - lago di como, particularly - expensive, but beautiful. not the best pics, but you get the idea - beautiful lake town surrounded by mountains also this is supposed to be a great (maybe the only, hence the "greatness") hostel in lago di como.

and considering the hiking opportunities during the time you'll be there - why not visit the sudtirol. it's in the dolomites and has a heavy german/austrian influence - supposed to be very beautiful. here's a pic of the area.

i'll be hitting up all these spots myself, so you know they gotta be cool!! :eat:

For places to see...The ruins in rome are amazing for sure...that is a sight that i will not forget anytime soon!!! Florence and Venis are also must sees...but besides the bigger cities, don't forget to visit the small towns for the old country feel!!!

Here area list of Hostels in Rome

This is the one the others were talking about cinque terre

And this one is voted one of the best in Rome Yellow Hostel
