Thumbs up Turkish Baths

So I was just reading this article about how the Turkish bath houses or Hamams, are getting a comeback. I visited one and I have to say, it is one of the most relaxing and rejuvenating experiences ever! If you are not afraid to be naked and get personally washed by a matronly woman only wearing underpants ( or man if you are a man!) then this is for you!

I went to one in Morocco and loved it. It wasn't so much getting over being naked and washed by someone; I was totally ok with that one. But the whole cleanliness aspect freaked me out. I just put it out of my mind and relaxed. We went to one where all the locals go, so it was very "non-touristy" if you will. Great experience. And my skin was sooooo soft

I posted a couple of times about the two that we went to in Spain.

Well worth the money.

I have not tried Turkish bath yet but looking forward to try one soon. It appears so amazing to me. As I check on the photos, I got more excited to do it myself.
It is indeed riveting...love the concept!!
