First off... WELCOME TO DA BOARD MON!!!
Ok, so you are freaking out eh? (Threw the eh in there for ya) ... So first you need to decide what places YOU want to visit.. When I first went, I also did not know. So I went on a photo sharing website
www.fotki.com and looked for peoples photos from Europe. The ones I was like "Oh my god that place looks awesome" I added to my trip. That’s just one way to help decide.
Now for flights over, the best thing to do is check out the flights going into Brussels and Amsterdam (they are traditionally the cheapest places to fly into..) I just went to
www.travelocity.com and did a search from my airport to those airports on the “flexible dates option”.
Now that you figured out how to get to Europe, you must be wondering, “How do I get around?”
You have 2 simple options! TRAIN or PLANE..
Ok, for train you can look at the Eurorail pass at
www.raileurope.com there are many different options; you need to decide what one will work best for you..
For flights within Europe you can check out 2 airlines..
www.easyjet.com and
www.ryanair.com.
The flights are cheaper the earlier you purchase, so keep that in mind… Also, the airports are traditionally out side of the cities, so you will have to use public transport to get into the city.
I hope this will help you out a bit.. If you want my opinion, I enjoyed Eastern Europe the most (Prague, Krakow, Budapest, Bratislava, Vienna) good luck in your travels!
