Well I have 19 days(almost 18 ) until I depart with 40+ of my peers to London, England. We will be studying abroad from Sept 6 to Nov 30. I will be staying the duration of the trip in WakeUp! London, a youth hostel around the paddington area.

Being that I am going to be there for 3 months, what are some things that I should consider taking that I would normally overlook, especially for this extended trip?

Also I think I am suffering from "Can't Wait To Get There" Syndrom, is there any cure?

Thanks for the help,
Andrew

wow! sounds like fun.

Don't take everything, plan on getting stuff there and leaving it when you leave.

Yeah, you can get just about anything you need there, although with the exchange rate, it might hurt when you're first stocking up... but still, it's so much easier to carry a lighter load. Find the nearest Tesco if you want to get decent prices on stuff - it's just like Target.

If you like peanut butter, I'd recommend taking it. Not too much of that to be found in Europe except for Holland. Heh.

The cure for "Can't Wait to Get There Syndrome" is time! Ha! It will fly last week--I know I'm in the home stretch last week myself right now and can't keep up with what day it is!

You'll have an awesome time. Try to get out to the countryside, see Stonehenge and Avebury, If you like ancient megalithic stuff) check out the towns of Bath and Glastonbury, if possible--a few of my personal faves

Hmm.. last time would be about a year ago. And I couldn't find any damn peanut butter

'Course, I come home and think the Orange Fanta here is crap, so I guess it's a fair trade.

Does that mean Omi...

"wanna Fanta...wanna Fanta...wanna Fanta...!"

I could just see Omi dancing next to the Fantanas in one of their commericals...
