Hey i was wondering if their were meeting points for travellers that arent staying in hostels??

The obvious one is bars but i am travelling to london and amsterdam and i am wondering if their are places that people go to to meet up? Can a non-hosteller go to a hostel bar? ect...

The answer is yes, I've done it. but other places where you get to meet lots of cool people are Plazas and college grounds also any historical place and the cafes!

Well, I hear Hyde Park, London, in the middle of the night is a popular "meet up" spot.

But seriously bars are probably your best bet. In London, Cheers and Sports Cafe are popular with foreigners probably mostly because they are right in or near Picadilly Circus. Or try one of teh Walkabout's that are scattered around the city.

In Amsterdam I know there were plenty of non-hostellers hanging out in the hostel common area. No one gives a crap in Amsterdam.
