On the 27th Im leaving north for a fun filled week in Vancouver BC. Ive been there a few times with family, but this is the first time Im going solo.

I live in the Seattle area so I know how the weather is in this part of the world(rainy). Im wondering, since I already have my hostel reservations, should I take as many clothes as I see fit? Having soggy gear is no fun.

Also, since my budget is almost non-existant I was hoping some of you could recommend some low cost or (preferably) free things to do for fun. I really enjoy cycling, so I plan to spend as much time as I can on leisure rides.

Any tips would be much appreciated

teehee, Dio is our resident Vancouverite, so she will be the best person to help ya on this, Columbia will prob weigh in aswell....

What I can tell ya is enjoy nature, cause there is alot of it out there, mountains, oceans and what not...and it free!!!

Night Sking and SNowboarding is pretty cheap at the local mountains, you might wanna try that...

As for places to stay, here are some options...

Vancouver Hostels, Un fortunalty I can not recommend a specific one, but do a little research and grap a private room, you will do fine!!
