Thumbs up

Hey ya'll! I'm a 21 year old female looking to go to Italy in May. I've been looking into the EF College Break tours... and they look really good. Does anyone have any experiance with them? I know about Contiki, but since I am a single travler, I don't want to have to pay the single supplement and they seem to be a bite more expensive. Or are there any other tour companys that target 20-somethings?
I know alot of you are going to say 'Backpack, do it by yourself!' And I know all the pros... more freedom, meet cool people, cheaper, but at this point I am really thinking that I would feel more comfortable on a tour.
Thanks!

I haven't ever heard anything about them, but honestly that doesn't mean much. Yeah, you're expecting it, but my pat answer is to head out on your own! But if you are really uncomfortable with the idea, do as much research on this company as you possibly can. And keep in mind that it may be more worthwhile to fork over a little extra money for a known quantity like Contiki.

And welcome to the boards!

I took an EF tour when in high school...given that it was a high school tour and not a college break tour, and also happened 7 years ago, it may not be much help to compare - but all in all, it was a good trip.

As SV said, investigate EF as best you can. Just to make sure, you realize that the single supplement for Contiki you only have to pay if you want to have the room to yourself... Otherwise they'll match you with same-gender roommate(s).
