have a good website that has maps for sale in english for directions around places in europe? 4 instance I want to stop in pamplona spain, but I would want to get a map here in the US as it would be in english whereas they might have one there but it may be in spanish and that would not help

Most larger bookstores carry an astounding number of maps and atlases, it's likely you'd find what you're looking for there. And there are also map stores, I'll bet there's one close to where you live. For online resources you could checkout amazon.com; also, you can look online at either http://www.maporama.com or http://www.mapquest.com. They both have global maps (and driving directions).
