Hello everybody,

Just wanted to post a quick thank you for advice and encouragement I have received on this board - you have been wonderful and have done a lot to eleviate any concerns I have had about travelling solo.

Will be flying to London on Sunday for 8 months of fun and irresponsibility.

Thanks again.

Will talk to you again.

Cheers.

Yes well, though 8 months sounds amazing, unfortunately that was a typo! I'll be overseas for 8 weeks but will still make the most of this time.

Arrive in London around 7 pm - already have plans for the local pub for a few drinks Monday night.

Now THAT'S a good start to a trip.
