I'm going to be back in London this weekend but with my mom who is coming to visit me for two weeks (yay!). One thing she really wants to see is the changing of the guards. Going to the one at Kensington would be easier to fit in with everything else she wants to see and I also think it might be less crowded but have nothing to base that on.

Questions: Does anyone know if the ceremony at Kensignton is the same, or just as good as the one at Buckingham? Am I wrong to think it might be better because of fewer people? How long does the ceremony take?

Also, We'll be there on the Sunday of the Camilla/Charles wedding thing. Should We be expecting anything that might hinder our visit to other places? I checked the official royal site but couldn't find anything, and I'm not too sure where else to look.

To my knowledge the Camilla/Charles wedding thing is going to be a civil ceremony, and the Queen has said that she will *not* be in attendance. So, if you wanted to visit St. Paul's it's a safe bet that you won't have any problems!

From looking on the BBC I've now learned both those things but as to where or when the actually wedding is leaves me totally confused.
The place I'm concerned about visiting is Kensington Palace because it's closed for all kind of events but it's one of our must-sees. I'll probably end up calling their info line later in the week.
