Hi!
After great debate, I think I will be going to the Netherlands, England, Scotland, and Ireland in the Spring of 2006. Does anyone have ideas on what to do, how to travel to the countires (inexpensively), how much money I will need to have and bring along, and where to stay? I hope to be able to go for at least two weeks in April-May with my boyfriend.
We want to definitely go to Amsterdam for the obvious but also to see some museums and take in the culture as much as possible.
We have a friend in England that we hope to meet up with, but Ireland and Scotland are complete mysteries to us. We would like to go to the pubs and view the scenery.
By the way, my family thinks I am crazy and is trying to talk me into going to Jamaica or someplace cheaper and "more within my price range."
I would like to show them that I can have fun where I want to go even though I am on a limited budget. So please help! I need suggestions and expertise in making this trip one to remember since it will be my first time out of the U.S.
Thanks!
Kathy
