My passport is valid through 2008 but the picture is from when I was 17 and I look pretty different now that I'm 23.......do I need to get another one or just have an updated photo id with me?

Getting another one will cost you and arm and a leg and take a while. Just have a photo ID with a more recent picture with you and you should be fine.

I agree with the above experts

Costs $75 here in Canada (last I checked) to get a new pasport, its not alot of money...but it aint chump change!

If you are really worried about, or there really is a huge difference, you may just want to look into gettin a new one. If you show up to customs sweating bullets b/c you're so nervous about it....they may suspect something. So who knows, it may save you some hassel! I know I've been torn into by customs a couple times (here & Europe).

Turns out my dashing charm doesn't work on Italian custom agents.

My passport's only 2.5 years old and already I look completely different. Hell, I look different ever month. No one's seemed to have ever given a damn except for the US immigration officers upon coming home... and even they couldn't be bothered to ask for backup ID.
