Question Road Tripping Vancouver - LA in a Wicked Van

has anyone else here done it?

at this stage my major concern is where to park/sleep.

i understand boondocking is illegal, ive even contemplating jumping on something like couch surfer to find driveways (as apposed to couches)

at the end of the day i can always stay on a camp ground or something similar.. im just trying to save where i can.

anyone else have advise?

You can park your van/RV in a Walmart parking lot for free.

Most are open 24 hrs so you can go in and use the bathrooms and shop for food/items, etc...

There are Walmarts up and down the west coast of the USA. Go to Google maps and type in these terms to see where the Walmarts are located exactly-

"walmart, washington state united states"
"walmart, oregon state united states"
"walmart, california state united states"
"walmart, vancouver bc canada"

Here's a video with some info on it.

Cool thank you

Drama being is I'm pretty sure the tent folds out ontop of the van - not sure how that will go down at walmart

Honestly, I dont think that anyone working at a Walmart would care about the tent/van, even if its noticeable... It would be more secure than Highway rest areas, but they could be an option as well... If anything, you get a knock on the window asking you to move... Go for it!
