Yeah, so of course my flight lands at midnight, and the first bus is WAAAAYYYY early in the morning... No use in wasting money on a bed for 5 hrs of sleep.... Anyone hung at the Managua, Nicaragua airport overnight? I checked the sleeping in airports website, but not too much info there....

When I was leaving Managua I had a 6am flight and showed up early at the airport around 3am and it was closed...that was a few years ago, but you may want to check that you'll be allowed to stay. The airport is a little sketchy, but no more than many other Central American airports.

So, what did you do from 3 till 6. With it being sketchy around there. I know theres a hotel across the street with a bar etc... But not really wanting to stay up all night at a bar... Was kinda hoping to get off at the gate, and not go through customs and instead, find a spot inside the secure area, and go through customs in the morn... May not work of course, but wont know till I get off the plane....

So the heck with that!!! I found a backpacers B&B to stay in for 2 nites! They pick me up at midnight too! Gotta love it! Figure I need to get some good sleep before heading out into the country

Oh yeah Tony! Im sure there will be no sleeping Fri night... And saturday, Roxane is driving me 4 hrs to Atl.... By the time I hit that bed, Its gonna be nice to just wake up to a breakfast, take a swim, lay in a hammock and feel where I am, and relax!
