I have always wanted to visit Prypiat but it is difficult and expensive to arrange. Having read that article I think Kolmanskop has to be added to my list as well.

as a side note, speaking of ghosts, my sister and I were checking out people's freaking videos on youtube to scare ourselves cos people have like real ghost encounters on there or whatever (some are lame, some are kind of legit, depends on what you believe I guess haha), but was freaking crazy. If you turn on the volume you can even sort of hear it at the end there.

yeah I thought it was cool too. we always try to do like haunted tours when me and my sister go somewhere. we did this haunted orlando tour when we went one year. in krakow they have a "haunted krakow" tour but I didn't get to do it.
I would totally love to check out some of the old deserted places and creep myself out haha.

me too! When I was little I used to be obsessed about living in a haunted castle. Lol there was this show about haunted castles and stuff around the world and I LOVED it. It would just be so cool/crazy to actually go to one!
