Default Travel Websites...

If someone is booking flights and such through a online site, is there one common everyone uses or do you just go through the airline? The reason I ask is that I generally like to use expedia because ive had allot of luck with them when Ive had issues ... but if its cheaper elsewhere , Id love to know. Like is there better all in one sites?

i normally use kayak.com which searches both airline and discount sites. however, i would shop around and even check out the acutal airlines' sites.

A great site for hostels is hotelz.com (hostels with a Z, not an S), which you can also apply to be a reviewer of hostels... they pay 8 euros a piece for a review and a few photos!

Also skyscanner.com is good for flights

I normally use kayak.com and sidestep.com which search all airlines and budget sites, but you book through the actual airline/site. I also subscribe to travelzoo's updates - weekly top 20 deals and newsflashes for those extra special limited time deals.

TravelZoo is great. I also subscribe to invidual airlines emails. Yeah, they can get annoying, but sometimes they work out. I'm going to Iceland in a month with a deal i got from Icelandair.com
