I just was reading a press release from Air Berlin, a low cost european Airline. theyve just taken over LTU, and are doing flights from Dusseldorf to JFK from €129 (£89) each way including all takes and charges!

i just typed in 2 random days in february and it came to €258 return...if I had the cash id be tempted to book it.

thats the cheapest ive ever seen to get to the US, but does anyone know of anything cheaper?

out of interest i just checked the US site, flying to dusseldorf is $460 return...not sure how good a deal that is?
