Default Sleazyjet

Hi,
I just got shafted by Easyjet on my way back from Spain on the last leg of my round the world trip. What a load of idiots!
Bumped off the flight with no reason given and standed in Madrid, it cost me £120 for a hotel and a further £75 to book on a flight the next day. Avoid at all costs!!!

This site says it all...very funny.

Cheers,
DirtyBastard

Sorry to hear about your experience with them. That does suck.

Anyone else have first hand experience, good or bad, with flying on Easyjet? Please post them.

Thanks!

That really does suck, but personally, I've never had a problem with EasyJet.

I've probably flown with them about 10 times, and apart from the odd delay, I've got what I expected for the price I paid.

only flown with them once, it was OK. My Dad flies with them a lot as they do cheap flights between Britain and Geneva.

Never flown them, but if you are boycotting easyjet, just bounce on to ryanair

I don't know about you guys, but personally, when I fly with a budget airline such as easyjet and a circumstance outside of their control causes a delay of a day or two (not that it has so far), I would understand that they're not position to offer compensation and happily accept a later flight. What can you expect for such a cheap flight? If you want 5* accomodation and an extra flight to be provided, pay for a flight on BA.

Of the European LCCs, I've only flown easyJet and Flybe so far.
However, on a frequent-flier messageboard I'm also on, easyJet seems to be one of the favored LCCs - everyone gives high marks to them while strongly suggesting to avoid RyanAir. My experiences with easyJet were nothing but positive, but I'm sorry to hear about your negative experiences dirtybastard.

Yup, dam shame that happened, I would hope that this would be a rare case. I flew with them once and had no prob. mind you it was a 25 minute flight from Glasgow to Belfast, so I am by no means an expert.

Did they offer you any compensation?

Am I the only one who finds it interesting that this person only has two posts on the boards and both of them are slamming easyjet with a link to that website? B)
