Echo Of Reason

Hey guys, well it´s been just over a week into my year long travels and I´m begining to plan what I will be doing over the next few months. Currently I´m in Granada with some friends and we will be heading around Spain and Moccoco until the 29th when we leave for france and the wine festivles in Bordeux. After that we will stop at the Running of the Bulls, the Love Parade and finally Amsterdam for a few days.
Once we have had enough of A-dam we are going to split up and go on our own path until we meet up in Prauge 2 weeks later. Currently my plans are to go to brussels for a few days because there is a sweet deal on a train from a-dam to brussels (10 euro) and then I don´t know what to do. Does anyone have advice on places to go or things to do in Brussels or maybe on the way to Prauge through Germany or Northern France?

Also, are there any highly recommened hostels in Prauge that everyone seems to enjoy?

Go to the Cantillion Brewery in Brussells, its just a little brewery with a self guided tour but u get some free samples at the end. the whole time they talk about how the process to make their beer makes it taste different than any other beer in the world and i didnt really buy it until the end when i sampled it and it blew me away.

i stayed at the clown and bard in prague. nothing too special, but it was decent and had cheap beer. then again, pretty much everywhere in prague has cheap beer.

My last trip to Belgium (besides a quick IKEA visit) was about 15 years ago, but we're planning to spend next weekend there, so I should have some more current intel by this time next week. I have relatives just outside Brussels, quite near Waterloo, (I went last time, was a little disappointed, frankly - maybe my attitude will be better this time. I'll have to get my daughter reading up about Napoleon this week, so she can appreciate it more) so that'll probably be on our list, as well as a visit to Brugges, if I can talk my husband into strolling along canals in a picturesque medieval town.

Jesus, I must love every shit hole hostel I come across, I loved the sickle! You have a full kitchen and bathroom to every 3 dorm rooms and a courtyard (maybe it's the courtyard that gets me??) The staff are class, I even painted the reception in that hostel.
