Should I make some sort of travel plan? I noticed alot of People had there countries lined up in order. I just want to wander aimlessly. also, can you get to Ireland on a Eurail pass or do you need another pass to get through Britain.
And one more thing. How do I find People to meet up with during my Looong Journey? I would like to maybe have some travle buddies. (prefferably Female lol)

It is possible to go without a plan. I had done it through the Baja in Mexico last summer. I wrote about some of the stories here. I think it is up to the person and what they are looking for and what they can do. Some people just can't NOT have a gameplan because they feel uncomfortable with it or feel like they might miss out on something if they don't, others don't mind and will always fall into something, for better or worse, along the way.

It's pretty much personal choice.

Ireland is part of the Eurail system but no, you can't go through Britain. Two separate islands. There should be a ferry from the mainland to Ireland. Or you can take a cheap flight. Buses are more popular in Ireland than trains, so you can go to more destinations.

Itineraries aren't at all required. We went last somewhere and knew loosely our first three destinations but that was because we had to land in one, visit family in another, and visit another place with my brother. The rest we winged. Much more fun but can be a hassle not having stuff prebooked.
