So we're heading out to europe in 4 weeks and i'm getting a little freaked out. We're going to be there for 6 weeks, and one of my friends is leaving after the first 2 weeks, so i'd like to have those initial 2 weeks set in stone. Here's what i was thinking; We fly into London on the 21st of June, take the train to Paris on the 25th. We'll stay in Paris till the 28th, then take a cheap flight to Barcelona till the 2nd/3rd of July. From there, we'll fly up to Einhoven and take a bus over to Amsterdam till July 6th, which is when my friend flies out. Then, i was thinking that we could buy europasses that start on the 6th, and use them for the remainder of the trip for transportation. Does this sound like a solid plan? Would the europass be worth it, or should we just buy individual tickets or try to fly everywhere? I'd like to start booking hostels as soon as possible. If anyone has any suggestions, it would be much appreciated! Thank you very much in advance.

Sounds like a solid plan to me - of course I prefer not to make plans and see what happens. I'd say maybe a Flexipass (I think that's what they're called) would work train-wise but since you're heading to bigger cities it may be cheaper to fly or buy train tickets seperately. I say check out ryanair and the other budget Europe airlines and see how it compares.

Good plan though - Barcelona is a-mazing.
