50 days and 4 hours exactly until my plane leaves for my European wander... I'm still kind of in a state of denial like I don't believe it will actually really happen... So I'm not super excited yet... I think about it a lot, but more in a "wouldn't it be cool if..." rather than an "Oh my God! Only 7 weeks left!!!" way...

I'm starting in Spain. Popping my Portugal cherry at some point, then on to the UAE mid March for spring break and some indoor skiing, back to Spain, over to Italy (assuming my sister comes to visit me), 3rd Annual Travel Punk Meetup (hopefully ), go from the Mediterranean to the Baltics (which contrary to my Monopoly geography isn't that close), China (possibly side tripping to either Ulaanbataar or Lhasa), Japan and then back home in time for Christmas 08.

Whew....so who's coming to visit me? :D

I have a feeling you will be seeing us somewhere is Eastern Europe Joe. We don't even have a timeline, but something just feels like it. We are leaving in 4 days for 4 days in San Diego to check it out before we move there after our next trip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very impressed with an RTW and a South Africa trip all coming up. Can't wait to share stories.
Cheers,
Marc
