It would be my first trip to Europe so I just wanted to test the waters and see how it was. I can't take months of vaction time from work so instead of not going at all I figured I could pull off about 15 days. Planning on flying into Dubling in the mid of April with a 15 day eurorail pass. I haven't booked any hostels but do plan to. I figured I could see the east coast of Dublin then head up to Scotland. My question is could I fit England or perhaps France or any other contry in the west in 15 days? Without me running around like a mad man.
Well for a reference, I covered Netherlands, Belgium, Scotland and Northern Ireland ( Major Cities ) in 10 days. I did not feel rush, i new what I had to work with and made it happen, I think you idea is right on, and I think you can pull it off no prob...One thing though, book you ticket into Dublin and out of another city say Paris so you will not have to back track, that takes time that you do not have.
I'll look into booking a flight out of another ticket. I was running into a problem trying to figure out how I was going to get back to Dublin. Thanks for the advice.
