Default Hostel One Centro - Madrid Spain

Again, this should be "recommended" but the redirect is to the Penalty box.

I stayed at Hostel One Centro (used to be affiliated with the Sant Jordi chain) for just one night. It is a clean, new, extremely centrally located hostel. I don't believe there are any ensuite bathrooms (just like the other Sant Jordi hostels in Barcelona).

It is on Calle Carmen which is just one street off the Puerta de Sol (sort of the Piccadilly Circus of Madrid). The metro stop Sol connects you to most of the city with one change or less.

The one weird thing is they ask for a 20 Euro deposit on the key which is a bit excessive. You get it back though

No complaints from me, the next time I am in Madrid, I'll definitely be staying there again.

One more time, thank you for a review of a hostel. It is always so much better to hear a review from a source that is "credible" (not having met you, but a tpunk nontheless)!!
