Yeah, but I'm not on the airplane yet... One of the reasons my dates for return keep changing is that DoD policy is that we (EOD) have to fly on the same aircraft as our equipment, so that we can be diverted at anytime (if they have a sudden hotspot, they'll literally cancel our return and us and our equipment will be dropped into a new hot spot)

Sure is! Smack dab between San Diego and Los Angeles. People mistake alot of O.C. for L.A. -- but Disneyland, Knott's, Huntington Beach, The *ahem* California Angels, Mighty Ducks, Newport .... all in O.C.

I grew up there before moving out to Az, and still miss it ....

Im going to Edinburgh for Hogmanay this year. Anyone else going to the street party??

Ive been wanting to go there for years and have never gotten around to actualy getting a ticket and going. But this year I decided i should actualy do it instead of always saying "id love to do that".

New Year is definatley my favourite time of year and its going to be even better spending it looking up at the castle in Edinburgh watching the fireworks along side 100,000 other people. Scotland is definatley the best place for new year - I wouldn't want to be anywhere else :D
