im having real trouble finding some figures of how many romani ngo's there are in central and eastern europe....if anyone could help would be greatly appreciated!

I suppose this will be difficult to obtain a number. There must be non-active ngos still registered and active ones, non registered.
Here are links that could - if you didn't have them already - help you with your search. The second one is a directory listing all ngos, but their activities are mentioned. I saw a few Roma's in there. The last one shows documents out of a meeting about racism in central and eastern europe, including Roma's situation.
Cheers esther! I know a lot of these ngo's are not actually registered with any organisation...just going on to prove a point of my dissertation that there should be some accountability of NGO's

Romani is the largest ethnic minority group of people in central and eastern europe.
Therefore a Romani NGO is an organisation that is not affiliated with a political regime that helps to develop end enrich the lives of Romani people
