LOL I don't wanna start another 9/11 forum debate but I find it sooo funny that so many people from the states think that American is a language... LOL I mean every country has it's slang words but that doesn't constitute a language.... Anywho just wanted to say that..

P.S. Beer gal I'm working on getting my but to the Warner Bros store in London this saturday and I'll see if they have Muggle T's and let you know

i can understand why rowling needed to translate loads of words antway i mean why did she have to change the first name of the book from phillosopher to sourcer? Rubbish to trash can? pavement to sidewalk?
that would be great if you could and then ill send my boyf in to get me one too

This is really sad, but I read that the reason they changed it to "Sorcerer" is because American kids would be confused by the word "Philosopher," and that "Sorcerer" sounds more exciting.

beergal - i have 4 & 5, but not your email address

And about the translations, I saw the greatest line a few months back..

An american on a forum said 'i didnt understand that article at all - was it written in some sort of british slang' ?

and the response : 'yeah, its called "english" '

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.

Dont know when it'll be released tho. Thats why i usually prefer waiting until a series is finished before reading - no waiting time :P

You can get a Muggle shirt on Hot Topic's website. Don't have it offhand but just google it. And House shirts too, and I have a pretty spiffy Chamber of Secrets one from there... SO sexy.

LOVE Harry Potter!!! I study Arabic, so I spent way too much money to order Philosopher's Stone from a bookstore in Abu Dahbi in Arabic. My professor thinks I am nuts... I can totally understand typing the whole thing to have it on disk.

Prisoner of Azkaban came out while I was in Morocco, so the second I got to the UK, I put my stuff in the hostel and asked directions to the nearest cinema. And watched it twice in a row.

Found the store... finding the time to get to London, and whether they have the shirts is another question though.
